Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) is the lead public agency for the I-270 Mississippi River Bridge project, working in partnership with Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) as the lead public agency for the Riverview Drive Interchange project. The two agencies have contracted with multiple firms for study, design and construction.
